by Jay Weitzner, Owner, MS, CMSS, CMES
What do we do to help with pain & mobility issues?

We enhance your Muscle System Quality to help you:

  1. Move Better — with more ease and less restriction
  2. Feel Better — experience less pain, tightness, or stiffness
  3. Do More Without Getting Hurt — increase your tolerance for physical activities

Summary: Enhancing your muscle system QUALITY  is the thing that reduces or eliminates your pain by making you move better

How Does Making You Move Better Make You Feel Better?

There is a connection between Movement and Pain.

Traditionally, it is believed that people can’t move well because they’re in pain.
However, as Certified Muscle System Specialists, we understand that it’s often the other way around:
People are in pain because they can’t move well enough.

  • Move Well: With more ease, range, less restriction, and less effort → Feel Well: No pain.
  • Move Poorly: With less ease, range, more restriction, and more effort → Feel Bad: Pain, tightness, stiffness.

Summary: Moving better makes you feel better, not the other way around

What is the Muscle System?

The Muscle System includes:

  1. All skeletal muscles (which attach to bones and cross joints)
  2. The brain and spine
  3. The nerves connecting the brain, spine, and all muscles to each other
  4. Tendons, connective tissues, and sensory receptors (in muscles, tendons, skin, etc.)

Summary: The muscle system is everything that results in you being able to move your body

What is Muscle System Quality?

The “quality” of your Muscle System is either:

  • High Quality:
Your Muscle System generates tension effectively under specific conditions.
  • Low Quality:
Your Muscle System struggles to generate adequate tension under the same conditions.

Summary: Higher Quality means you move better, which means you feel, and function better

As Certified Muscle System Specialists, our goal is to identify the conditions where your Muscle System operates at low quality, and improve it to operate at high quality.
