Symmetry Exercise Clinic

HIRING for Personal Training

We’re Looking for Someone Special to Join Us at Symmetry Exercise Clinic

My name is Jay Weitzner, and I’m the owner of Symmetry Exercise Clinic here in Naples, Florida. We opened our doors in 2013.

Over the years, we’ve seen other facilities come and go. We’ve weathered hurricanes, the off-season, the high-season rush, and even COVID. Through it all—we haven’t just survived, we’ve thrived.

Now, I’m looking to bring someone new into our team.

What We Do at Symmetry

We offer two distinct “tracks” for our clients:

Track 1: Helping people with pain and mobility issues.
Most of these clients have already tried everything—physical therapy, chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, stretching, foam rolling, ice, heat, massage guns—you name it. Some are trying to avoid surgery, others are recovering from one, and some have had surgeries that didn’t work.

For them, we use a unique methodology called Certified Muscle System Specialist, developed by my mentor, Greg Mack—a Navy Nuclear Engineering graduate and a brilliant mind in this field.

Track 2: Helping people with traditional health and fitness goals—gaining strength, losing fat, aging well, building bone density, preventing falls, staying active in sports, and improving overall health.

This is the position I’m currently hiring for.

The Opportunity: Track 2 – Personal Trainer

Right now, I’m looking for someone who can meet this availability:

  • Any hours Saturday and Sunday (am, pm, both) (flexible hours—you’ll create your own schedule with your clients)

  • Any hours Monday through Friday (am, pm, both)

We must find our clients, and they must find us.  I’ll show you how to do it.

If you’re already an experienced fitness professional, great. If you’re newer but passionate, that’s fine too—because I’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Who Will Succeed Here

To thrive here, you must:

  • Love what you do. This is hard work—but when you love it, it’s worth every second.

  • Be passionate about learning. Ego has no place here. I’ve been in this industry for almost 25 years, and I’m still learning every day. If there’s a better way to do something, we change—because our clients deserve the best, not just what we like best.

  • Be science-driven. We don’t follow trends and fads; we follow what the evidence says. Whether it’s a retired couple, a recreational athlete, or a pro, everyone deserves interventions backed by the most current science.

  • Be willing to market yourself. This isn’t a big-box gym with thousands of people walking through the doors. You’ll need to help people find you—and in today’s world, that means being active on social media. We’ll work on that together, including how to shoot engaging videos.
